Marcher Vibe is Wrexham's newest radio station, launching in January 2026 to bring real local radio back to Wrexham and North Wales.

Playing the best feel-good music from the 60s to today, we're built for listeners over 35 who want great songs, familiar voices, and a station that actually knows its community.

From Dave Lee at Breakfast to the No-Repeat Workday with Eddie Castle and Becca Evans, Drivetime with Dan Robinson, and the All Eighties Evening Show. Plus a packed weekend schedule, Marcher Vibe is local radio done properly broadcast online, on smart speakers, and via our app, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our Story

For too long, Wrexham and North Wales have been underserved by local radio. National stations don't know your streets, your teams, or your community and most regional stations have drifted so far from their roots that they've forgotten what local radio is supposed to feel like.

Marcher Vibe was founded to change that. We set out to build something Wrexham could be proud of, a proper local radio station with experienced presenters, a carefully crafted music policy, and a genuine connection to the people and places that make this part of North Wales so special.

The name is a nod to history. The original Marcher Sound was one of the most beloved local stations this region ever had. We're not here to recreate the past but we are here to bring back everything that made local radio matter.

What We Sound Like

Marcher Vibe plays feel-good music spanning six decades from the classic hits of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, through the anthems of the noughties, right up to the biggest adult-friendly chart tracks of today. If it makes you smile, tap your foot, or sing along in the car, it belongs on Marcher Vibe.

We're not a jukebox. Our music is carefully selected by people who love it, presented by voices you'll come to trust, and delivered without repeats because nobody wants to hear the same song twice in a working day!
