There's a new voice in Wrexham. Marcher Vibe launched in January 2026 with a simple idea: give this town a radio station that actually sounds like it belongs here. Not a London feed with local ads bolted on. Not an algorithm. A proper station, built in Wrexham, for Wrexham.

So What Is Marcher Vibe?

We're an online radio station (DAB coming soon) based right here in the Wrexham area, broadcasting 24 hours a day. You'll hear a mix of music from the 80s, 90s, 00s and today, plus local news, community stories, and presenters who know the difference between Eagles Meadow and the Eagle on Regent Street.

The Breakfast Show runs every weekday morning between 7am and 10am with David Lee, who some of you might remember from his days at Marcher Sound/MFM. There's The No-Repeat Workday for anyone who is fed up of the other stations repeating the same songs over and over again.

Why Wrexham Needs This

Wrexham's changed a lot in the past few years. The football club's gone from the National League to... well, you know the story. The town's bidding for City of Culture 2029. There are new businesses opening, old ones closing, roadworks that seem to last longer than some marriages, and a community that cares deeply about where it lives.

But local radio options have thinned out. The stations that used to feel like ours got swallowed into bigger networks. The local phone-ins disappeared. The presenter who knew your street name got replaced by someone broadcasting from a business park in Manchester.

Marcher Vibe exists because Wrexham deserves a station that talks about Wrexham. About the Racecourse, about what's on at Stiwt, about whether the A483 is moving this morning. The kind of radio that makes you feel like you're part of something, not just listening to something.
